Dr Hee-Moon Kyung is an Honorary Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, Dental School, Kyungpook National University (KNU), Daegu, Korea. He is one of the most experienced clinicians in the development and utilisation of microimplants in orthodontic treatment worldwide. He has given more than 300 courses in over 60 countries about microimplant anchorage, lingual orthodontic treatment and various wire bending exercises. He was a president of World Society of Lingual Orthodontists and Korean Association of Orthodontists. He is an active member of Angle Society (East). He has published more than 150 articles, including several contributions to books.
