Dr Nina Shaffie is a distinguished Specialist Orthodontist and Vice President of PEERS Ortho UK. She holds an MSc in Orthodontics with Distinction from King’s College London and MOrth RCS from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
Her accolades include winning Best Orthodontic Practice South 2023 and Best Young Orthodontist South 2022 at the Clinical Dentistry Awards. She has authored eight peer-reviewed publications and delivered numerous presentations at major international conferences including AAO New Orleans, DS World Las Vegas and the Global Orthodontic Symposium London.
Dr Shaffie serves on the SureSmile Clinical Advisory Panel and is an internationally recognised expert in clear aligner therapy, particularly trim line design and complex case management. She regularly trains orthodontic therapists and delivers CPD lectures to dental professionals globally.
Her teaching experience spans international workshops, webinars, and hands-on training sessions across multiple continents. She provides weekly curriculum-based teaching to trainee orthodontic therapists and has delivered educational content to BDS undergraduates at King’s College London.
Fluent in English, Swedish, and Persian, Dr Shaffie combines clinical excellence with dedication to education and professional development. Outside dentistry, she is a former ITF Taekwondo World Champion gold medallist.
