Abstract

Completely Customised Lingual Appliances (CCLA) deliver effective, efficient and predictable results making indications today for treating every kind of malocclusion.

CCLA key strengths are torque expression, individual archform, occlusal plane control and combination with bite jumping devices.

Treatment goals predefined in the set-up manufacture can be precisely achieved via embedded information in the customised lingual brackets.

Bio

Mariano Gallone received a degree in dentistry in 1996 and a Specialty in orthodontics in 2003 from the University of Catania. He also received his postgraduate training in Orthodontics in 1999 from the University of Naples “Federico II”.

He subsequently obtained a Diploma in Lingual Orthodontics in 2008 after a two-year programme directed by Prof Didier Fillion at Paris-V René Descartes University and the title of Master of Science in Lingual Orthodontics in 2012 after a two-year programme directed by Prof Dirk Wiechmann at the University of Hannover Medical Center MHH.

Dr Gallone is adjunct professor, course director and clinical instructor of the WIN Master programme in Lingual Orthodontics at Padua University.

He is an ordinary member of SIDO (Italian Society of Orthodontics), member of EOS (European Society of Orthodontics) and active ESLO member (European Society of Lingual Orthodontics).

Dr Gallone has a private practice focused on lingual orthodontics and interdisciplinary treatment in Catania, Italy.
